All while receiving an informative tour regarding the history of the area.

A Historical Tour

One of the many historic locations that it is possible to see is the Stagecoach Stops while flying over these or the train you will discover how the area was settled. Another historical location that will be seen is the Easton Town Hall, which dates back to the late 1800s. In the present day, it has now become a Wedding and Event Center run by its amazing hosts the Engels- who happen to be some of the valley’s long-time locals, one of whom started the Winter Park Ski School.

There are many extraordinary views that can be seen during a flight. When at the highest altitudes reached during the flight it is possible to view peaks located all the way in Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as up to 100 miles away. Just to name a few of the five to seven different counties that it will be possible to view mountains from are Grand, Summit, and Route Counties.

Rides are available year-round in the Colorado Rockies. In this mountain valley, there is a wonderful inversion, in which warm air rises and cold air sinks. Therefore, it is almost always 20 to 40 degrees warmer at 1000 feet off of the ground. Flights are beautiful all year, but fall is one of the most spectacular times of the year to fly.
