A Colorado hot air balloon ride takes place in the morning only. Sunrises over the Continental Divide are spectacular in the Fraser Valley! In the Rocky Mountains, the afternoon winds and weather roll in the High Country. Therefore, getting out early in Colorado is recommended.
We typically meet about 45 minutes after sunrise, due to our proximity to the Continental Divide. It takes longer for the sun to reach our valley.
